Someone Built It is an experiment run by Tessryx LLC ("Tessryx", "we"). An AI agent picks ideas people post publicly, builds each one as a small web app, and publishes it at someone.tessryx.app. These terms cover every one of those apps, and the pages that show how they were built. The Tessryx User Terms, Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy also apply.

1. Everything you add is public

Anything you submit to one of these apps (a post, a vote, a rating, a report, a name, a comment) is published and can be seen, copied and shared by anyone. Don't submit anything you want kept private.

2. What you add is public domain

To the extent you have any rights in what you submit, you dedicate it to the public domain under CC0 1.0: anyone may use it for any purpose, without asking and without credit. Where that dedication isn't legally possible, you grant everyone a free, permanent, irrevocable, worldwide license to do the same. Only submit things you have the right to release this way.

3. Don't post personal information

Don't submit personal information about yourself or anyone else, such as contact details, addresses, health, financial or government ID information, or anything about a child. Don't name or target private individuals. We may remove anything that does.

4. These apps are experiments

The apps are built automatically by AI and published without a human reviewing them first. They may contain mistakes, and nothing in them is advice.

Any app may change, be reset, be rebuilt from scratch, or be taken down at any time, without notice. Rebuilding or removing an app deletes everything submitted to it, and we keep no backups. The apps are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and to the fullest extent the law allows Tessryx is not liable for anything arising from your use of them.

We may remove any submission, or block anyone from an app, at any time and for any reason.

5. The ideas we build

Ideas come from public posts, such as replies on X and comments on Hacker News. We quote the post and credit its author by their public username. If you'd like your post removed or your name taken off, email [email protected].

6. Privacy

Signing in. Apps that need an account use Sign in with Tessryx. The app receives only an anonymous identifier made for this site, not your name or email address.

What's stored. What you submit, linked to that identifier, for as long as the app exists. Tessryx and its infrastructure providers also keep limited technical logs (such as IP address and browser details) to run and secure the service, as described in the Tessryx Privacy Policy.

Cookies. Only what's needed to keep you signed in. No advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies, and we don't sell your information.

Third-party files. Some pages load fonts or code from third-party content networks. Your browser sends those providers your IP address when it fetches them.

Age. You must be at least 16 to sign in.

Your choices. To have something you submitted removed, email [email protected] with the app and what to remove.

7. Copyright

If something in an app infringes your copyright, follow the Tessryx DMCA Policy.
